Custom action-plan columns #

Access #

Administrators open /administration/action-fields from Settings → Action columns. Definitions belong to the current organization.

Define a column #

A definition specifies label, key, type, order, visibility and required status. Supported types are text, number, date, boolean, list and URL.

The technical key is generated automatically from the label using lowercase, accent-free words separated by underscores. You may customize it before creation. It must start with a letter, contain only lowercase letters, digits or underscores, and remain unique within the organization. An invalid key disables creation; a duplicate is reported without creating a column.

Lifecycle #

Create a stable key, choose an appropriate type and make a field required only when existing actions can be completed. Values are stored on actions and exposed through the API.

Security and governance #

The API rejects definitions and values from another tenant. Document each column’s purpose, avoid recreating a native GRC field, and review the impact of changes on exports and integrations.
